Holiday Inn Express Dundee by IHG

Room was really nice and fresh with a lovely layout. Bathroom was a good size. Great lighting. We had twin beds, and both were comfortable and clean. Tea & Coffee Facilities, nice view from the window. Was warm during the night, but we kept the window open. With that, you could hear the traffic but that's to be expected. Breakfast was great, hot & cold buffet plenty of tea, coffee, and juice. Perfect location for the centre of Dundee and has access to NCP or council multi-story parking!

A pleasantly decorated room which included a thoughtful use of orange dyed, I assume appropriate " jute "covers on their head rests. The self service breakfast was very well presented in easily accessible layout with superb electric hinge lidded cooking pots which kept warm the ample choice of bacon, sausages etc .Also a continually heated toaster ensured slices of bread were speedily browned .A Witherspoon type coffee, tea machine adequately dispensed ones breakfast beverage choice

The property was, as usual, of a high standard. I have stayed here previously. The staff were excellent and the facilities were first class. I was slightly disappointed with the location of my room 213, which overlooked the road outside and was noisy with traffic during the evening and into the early hours of the morning. Even with the window closed, the sound of the traffic was still audible, which made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was ok, nothing great, but the presentation in 'keep warm' containers was very good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I will certainly consider returning, but hopefully, I will be assigned a quieter room.

Great location with bus station, train station and shops within 5 minutes walking distance. V & A museum across the road. Surf & Turf restaurant next door. Room was clean and lovely and warm to return to after being out in the cold. Toiletries in the room and if you need anything eg toothbrush/toothpaste etc the hotel will provide them free. Good breakfast with usual bacon, sausage, toast, coffee etc. Bar open until midnight but a bit expensive. Staff polite and helpful. This was our 2nd stay for a short break between new year and returning to work and will definitely be back for a 3rd time.
